The organization that runs the World Series of Poker announced last month that it is rescheduling the final table of the WSOP main event, normally held in mid-July of each year, to November instead. While the rest of the WSOP - all other events including all of the main event leading up to the final table - remains scheduled for the summer as it always is. The final table alone received the 4-month delay in order to fall in line with ESPNs broadcasting of the competition.
You see, before now ESPN broadcast the entire WSOP after it had already occurred. So everyone knew the winner before they were able to view it themselves on TV (cause, come on, word does get around). Now, no one but the 9 players at the final table themselves and those there to watch it live and in person, wont know the results until its broadcast just 2 days later, immediately following ESPNs broadcasting of every last hand leading up to it. This means, with one fell swoop, ESPN and the WSOP both obliterated the spoiler phenomenon from the WSOP main event and added true nail-biting suspense, just like any poker game - whether youre watching it or playing it - is supposed to be.

Management by Baseball.
Coaches in baseball are unique in a couple of ways compared to the coaches in other sports. One of the most obvious differences is that in baseball, the coaches actually wear the team uniform. I personally cannot think of another sport where this is the case. In some other sports the coaches actually have to comply with a dress code that is vastly different than the players (I think it is the NBA that requires the coaches to wear coat and tie when they are at court side). Not only do the coaches in baseball wear the team uniform, but they are assigned a number just like the players on the field. The coach is really a part of the team.
Another key difference between coaches in baseball and coaches in other sports is that two of the coaches in baseball are actually allowed on the field of play during the game. On the first base and third base lines there are two coach's boxes where the team can choose to have a coach positioned during the game.
There is a distinction between this and other sports that allow coaches on the sidelines (such as soccer, football and basketball). When a coach is on the sidelines in those sports, they are totally out of the field of play. A ball that leaves the field of play is dead. In baseball the foul territory where the coaches stand is still in play, so a player can catch a foul ball in the coaches box and the batter will be out. A ball can be overthrown during a play and hit a coach, interfering with the play; there are even special rules that govern when this happens - which is not very often, because the coaches are usually pretty good about getting out of the way.

Content is king as the saying goes. This is very much so. Getting visitors and traffic to your site can be difficult - but once they are there - how do they behave? Unless you want high traffic only for the advertisers you should focus on efforts to spend more time on the site and make them return on a regular basis. Your regulars can help you a lot in terms of content and conversion optimisation. You need a reliable stat system that monitors every action on the site and deliver information that otherwise would not be accessible.

The chart on the upper left is none other than the New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT), which owns and operates the New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, The Boston Globe, and 16 other daily newspapers. The Company also runs more than 50 Web sites, including NYTimes.com, Boston.com and About.com.
Directly to the right of NYT is Gannett Co. Inc. (NYSE: GCI), a leading international news and information company that publishes 85 daily newspapers, including USA TODAY, the nation’s largest-selling daily newspaper.
Below NYT and GCI are the Washington Post (NYSE: WPO), a diversified media company best known for its flagship Washington Post newspaper; and The McClatchy Company (NYSE: MNI), the third-largest newspaper business in the U.S. McClatchy owns and operates 30 daily newspapers, including The Miami Herald, The Sacramento Bee, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Kansas City Star, The Charlotte Observer, and The (Raleigh) News Observer.
As you can see, NYT has gone from $45 to $16 over the past five years. GCI has fallen from a high of $90 to the low-$20s. WPO hit a peak of $1,000 and fell to a recent low of $550 before recovering to its current price of $590. MNI has fared the worse of them all, dropping from an all-time high of $75 just three years ago to the single digits.
With subscriber rates and advertising dwindling, newspaper profits are getting squeezed due to the decreasing revenues in a high fixed-cost business. It remains to be seen whether these companies can turn things around fast enough to remain viable longer term. In the meantime, look for more consolidation, layoffs, and plant closures to reduce capital expenditures and costs. Shareholders may face possible dividend cuts if cash flow weakens to the point where it no longer can support the current payouts. I wouldn't rule out bankruptcies or unwanted takeovers from opportunistic suitors, who most likely would finance the majority of such acquisitions with debt. Servicing high-cost bank debt and junk bonds would make it that much more difficult for the old media to survive without major changes to their business models.
If the truth be told, the newspaper behemoths were in the best position to lead, rather than lag, the growth in the online media space. Forward-thinking managements, while perhaps not entrepreneurial enough, could have beaten the Googles, Yahoos, eBays, and Monsters to the punch, ensuring not only their survival but prosperity for years and perhaps decades to come. Instead, newspapers are downsizing while changing their business models to focus on local events and become more like magazines by devoting space to features rather than old news.
Meanwhile, the news for the industry is chilling. Advertising revenues have dropped 12% year-over-year, the third-consecutive annual decline, as readers move online and companies follow them to what is a more measurable and targeted medium for such advertisers. Although the bulk of the downturn is secular, some of the recent problems can be attributed to cyclical issues, including a softening economy that has negatively affected subscription rates, national and local advertising, plus classified ads heretofore the "bread and butter" of the newspaper business.
Prior to the advent of the Internet, the newspaper business was viewed positively by investors. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has held a large stake in WPO for decades and has owned off and on stakes in several media conglomerates, including a number that have owned and operated newspapers. For the longest time, the vast majority of these businesses had little or no direct competition operating in markets large enough to support only one daily paper, while the larger papers had brand names and loyal readerships that served to reduce the potential threat of newcomers.
But times change and the New York Times and Los Angeles Times (and others) need to change with them. While most of us who have relied on the Internet as our only platform have sought to get the respect previously bestowed on print journalists, the latter have turned to blogging in an ironic twist of fates that, I guess, could be found in the department of "If you can't beat them, join them."
As it relates to the baseball world, I only hope that the Baseball Writers Association of America is paying attention. Otherwise, it may go down the same path as the newspaper business.

LONDON - Hoping to capture the attention of hardcore fans of the adult fantasy magazine, Heavy Metal, Cantor Gaming (www.cantorcasino.com) has signed an exclusive deal with the popular magazine to develop a series of online casino games based on characters from Heavy Metal.
Heavy Metal has long been a cult classic and our design teams immediately saw the ability to build innovative, cutting-edge casino games based on the brand, said Manu Gambhir, Cantor Gaming Managing Director. The games will be edgy, highly-animated and deliver a completely new experience to our players.
Gambhir added that the team-up with Heavy Metal is in line with Cantor Gamings mission to provide its players with fresh, exciting games from leading brands around the world.
Kevin Eastman who is publisher and editor of Heavy Metal since he acquired it in 1991 commented:
I am delighted to have reached an agreement with Cantor Gaming to bring the unique characters and storylines to a new marketplace that I am sure will appreciate the vibrancy and originality of the brand.
Eastman is also popular for his other work, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Heavy Metals penchant for dark fantasy/sci-fi and erotica have made it a cult favourite since it appeared in stores in the 70s. It has helped introduce European talents like Enki Bilal, Milo Manara, Philippe Druillet, and Moebius to an American audience.
One of Heavy Metals most popular character is the sexy space siren Druuna and whether she makes an appearance in one of Cantors online games is something that hardcore fans of the magazine will surely await.

The most common mistake beginners make is to stand too often on your blackjack game (12,13,14,15, something serious). With each of game, you can take work to hit or stand as well, unless you bust. One of the things Im going to miss the most about Virginia is our local Down Syndrome Association. I have enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful families and having people to talk to and ask questions to as Robert and I immersed ourselves into the world of raising a child with Down syndrome. On Sunday, we went to the first ever fundraising event for the Down Syndrome Association of the Virginia Peninsula. It was a Poker Run sponsored by the Illusions Motorcycle Club. For those of you who dont know what a Poker Run is (I didnt), basically what people do is they pay $10 for each hand of poker. The way a person acquires the cards for his/her poker hand is to ride his/her motorcycle to several designated stops. At each stop, he/she draws a card. The card drawn is recorded on the persons poker sheet and signed off on by the volunteers checking the cards. When the biker arrives at the destination, he/she draws the final card and completes the poker hand. The person with the best poker hand wins the Poker Run! I hope that made senses a very simplified version, as I understood it(and I know absolutely nothing about poker, so I dont even know what itd take to have a good poker hand!). In addition to the actual Poker Run, people could purchase raffle tickets to win a huge assortment of prizes and gift certificates that were donated and there was also a 50/50 raffle. All of the bikers ended up at a local restaurant after the run and there was a band and all kinds of things going on for people to enjoy. I have heard it said many times, and let me just say it again in case youve never got to experience an event with a large group of bikers. You will never meet a nicer and more generous group of people(except maybe when you see a group of folks with extra chromosomes). They raised LOTS of money for the DSAVP. And more importantly, they loved on our kids. We had a wonderful time and Im so thankful that there are groups like this out there that support our kids and our efforts to raise awareness that our children are a BLESSING and that their lives have value.
Grifyn was in his element at this event! My little social butterfly quickly realized that he could be the star of the show. He found himself a table full of bikers and made himself right at home! The ladies thought he was adorable and I think so did a few of the men ;) He sat with a guy named Charlie and hung out and ate pretzels during the raffles.

Atk Hairy Thursday by word of mouth, through the local society columns of your newspaper are occasions for special favors and centerpieces; Silver and Golden Wedding. Centerpieces can be sold by special order and often direct to shops.
It is well to make up some samples to show, a Santa Claus Grab Bag, a Circus Centerpiece, but offer to create favors for special occasions. This sort of thing ??if a hostess is giving a farewell party to friends going to Mexico, offer to do smart little Mexican figures or baskets for her table.
Local clubs are another potential source of orders. In testimony before the US Congress on Monday, James Hansen, a leading climatologist, called heads of major energy companies criminals who should be prosecuted for deliberately spreading false and misleading information about the threat posed by global warming.
Hansen, director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), testified before the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming to mark the 20th anniversary of his initial appearance before Congress in 1988. He generated the first significant public awareness of the issue of global warming by telling the Senate at that time that manmade greenhouse gasses were raising global temperatures.

THE DIFFERENCE
The difference between the poor countries and the rich ones is not the age of the country:
This can be shown by countries like India Egypt, that are more than 2000 years old, but are poor.
On the other hand, Canada, Australia New Zealand, that 150 years ago were inexpressive, today are developed countries, and are rich.
The difference between poor rich countries does not reside in the available natural resources.
Japan has a limited territory, 80% mountainous, inadequate for agriculture cattle raising, but it is the second world economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw materials from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.
Another example is Switzerland, which does not plant cocoa but has the best chocolate in the world. In its little territory they raise animals and plant the soil during 4 months per year. Not enough, they produce dairy products of the best quality! It is a small country that transmits an image of security, order labor, which made it the world's strongest, safest place.
Executives from rich countries who communicate with their counterparts in poor countries show that there is no significant intellectual difference.
Race or skin color are also not important: immigrants labeled lazy in their countries of origin are the productive power in rich European countries.
What is the difference then? The difference is the attitude of the people, framed along the years by the education the culture flawed tradition.
On analyzing the behavior of the people in rich developed countries, we find that the great majority follow the following principles in their lives:
1. Ethics, as a basic principle.
2. Integrity.
3. Responsibility.
4. Respect to the laws rules.
5. Respect to the rights of other citizens.
6. Work loving.
7. Strive for savings investment.
8. Will of super action.
9. Punctuality.
10. and of course...Discipline
In poor countries, only a minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.
The Philippines is not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel to us. In fact, we are supposedly rich in natural resources.
We are poor because we lack the correct attitude. We lack the will to comply with and teach these functional principles of rich developed societies.
If you do not forward this message nothing will happen to you. Your pet will not die, you will not be fired, you will not have bad luck for seven years, and also, you will not get sick or go hungry.

A fun idea to do is create an abstract picture, you can do anything you want to it. One fun idea is the add a fire look to a picture, here is a step by step way to do it: First things first, get a nice stock photo. I used a stock photo of an eye from deviant ART.First of all I opened the photo and resized it to 75% of its original size. 1. After youve opened your photo up, duplicate the background layer then apply Filter Distort Twirl and use the default setting. That should have just distorted it slightly. Now change the layer mode for your duplicated layer to Lighten. That will have made the eye look a little bit alien-like. 2. Now brighten up the picture a little bit by adding in a Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer (Layer New Adjustment Layer Brightness/Contrast) Now this is the part where you choose the fiery color for your photo. Go to Layer New Adjustment Layer Gradient Map. I changed the layer mode for this layer to Linear Light and lowered the opacity to 85%. 3.Ok, here are some nice optional effects. Before adding effects like these, youll probably need to flatten your image (Layer Flatten Image) then duplicate the one remaining layer. First, I applied Filter Artistic Rough Pastels with the default settings. Now change the layer mode for this layer to Lighten and maybe lower the opacity if you see it need sit. I lowered the opacity to 70%. 4. To finish this tutorial off, I flattened all the layers, applied Filter Sharpen Sharpen, faded the sharpen to about 40% (Edit Fade) then I added in a little bit of tech and grunge.
Photoshop CS2 is able to create an Automated Task. When you have a whole bunch of repeated tedious task to do on a whole sets of photos. Eg: resize a whole stack of photos to a specific resolution. It is easy enough to do: First, open up the desired photos with Photoshop or simply just drag and drop the photos onto the Photoshop main stage. This is the photo which I will be using. It is actually a 20001333 resolution photo and now the view is actually 25% of the actual size. Now is to open up the Action Window. Go to Window Action or simply press the shortcut key Alt + F9. The Action window will looks like what it is in the above image. We have everything ready and now is to do the trick. Click on the Create New Action button as where is shown on the above image A New Action window will come out, the Name of course is the name of your this Automated Task, here as I am doing photo resizing so I will give it the name . Everything just remain as it is and click on Record Just for your information, the Function Key is actually for you to set the shortcut key to this Automated Task. Anyway, I will not set anything here. Now the Record button has turned active (red color), and from now on whatever action you do will be recorded. I will start doing the resizing now. Go to the Image Image Size or with the shortcut key Ctrl+Atl+I. Here I will resize to the above figures. Click Ok. The image has now been resized. What I need to do has actually finish. In actual tedious task of course it wont be that short but here it will be enough as an example. Click on the Stop Recording button as where is shown on the image. Now you have your Automated Task set! .To show on how it works. Simply open another photo or drag other photo onto the Photoshop main stage. In the above image I am now using another image. Now on the Action window, select on the (or the name you gave for this Automated Task), then click on the Play Selection button as where is shown on the image.
What we want to do is create a fractal. I use Apophysis but you can use any fractal program. Once you have a fractal you like open it up in Photoshop. To start off what we want to do is duplicate our fractal layer. So take your fractal layer and drag onto the new layer button. Then go to Filter Blur Gaussian Blur and insert any settings between 4 - 9. Each fractal is different so it will take some experimentation find the right one for your fractal. Then set your blurred layer on Linear Light. This will make the colors more vibrant and will make it brighter and seem to glow. Your fractal should look something like this now. Now duplicate your blurred layer. And take the layer settings and put it on Soft Light. This should add to more of the glow feeling. Yours should look something like this: Now I wanted to make my fractal look even brighter because its an angel and angels are known to be very bright. So make a new layer. Fill it black. Now go to Filter Render Lens flare. Then blur your Lens Flare. Finally set your Lens Flare layer on Color Dodge and move it so the Lens Flare is in the middle of your fractal. Your fractal should look something like this: If you have ugly green heads take a white soft brush and brush over it. And you are done!
When you are doing photo effects you can create those images that sometimes ipods use, the first thing you should do is de-saturate the photo. Change the levels so the range is closer. (Basically slide the black and white sliders towards the gray slider.) Create a new layer. Fill it with #fb4700. Set blending mode to Hard Light. For the Person Duplicate the photo. Take out the background by either the selection tool. Create a new layer. On that new layer, take the character, and paint the person black where you want it black.Set the person layer to blending mode overlay. This will have the part that is not black come through to reflect that red and orange colors. For the Graffiti create new layer just below the layer with the solid color set to hard light. Take a black grunge brush and start grunging the layer. Then again add grunge with the color set to white. Take the eraser tool and take a grunge brush. You can then delete some of the grunge on the layer. Create new layer above all. Set the foreground color to #e6ff8e. Grunge this layer a little. Use it for accents.
The photo retouching technique liquefying, can take a while especially if it is a image. It doesnt help your computer isnt powerful. Ive found a great way to improve the operations. If we will work not with the whole image but with the part of it the processing can be done more quickly. 1. Select the area for further retouching but rectangle tool: 2. Copy the area: ctrl+c 3. Create a new document and paste the area with the combinations of hotkeys: ctrl+n, ctrl+v 4. Open filter menu: 5. Make the changes. Click 6. Select corrected area: ctrl+a 7. Copy corrected area: ctrl+c 8. Go back to the original document 9. Paste the corrected area into original document (you may wish to place it on a new layer):

Want to create a web 2.0 label? This is easy enough just follow the steps: Step 1) Create your canvas, I suggest a large size so you create lots of detail, the final image can be scaled down later. Step 2) The next step is to draw your shape, this can be any shape. Use the preset shapes in Photoshop or download some new ones off the internet. It doesnt matter what colour it is. Step 3) Next apply a layer style to the shape, I recommend using the Web 2.0 layers and gradients pack, here. Although you can make your own. Step 4) As well as this I suggest using a bevel and emboss. Use are large size and reduce the opacity of the shadow. Step 5) Add you text. Ive used Trebuchet MS. Use the character palette to move the letters into a good looking spacing. Step 6) Again, use one of the white layer styles in the pack and apply this to the white text. Step 7) You now have a cool looking Web 2.0 label to add to your web pages.

Afghanistan has the worlds highest percentage of school-age children but some of the toughest conditions. Despite progress since 2001, illiteracy is rife, beggars swarm the streets of Kabul and there are 600,000 child drug addicts. Just 1% of students make it to university.
Skateistan, as the project is called, started 18 months ago with 10 secondhand skateboards that Percovich, 34, scrounged from friends in Melbourne. It is a departure from the macho image of sport in a country where the national pastime, Buzkashi, features two teams of horsemen fighting over a calf carcass. Dog fighting and cock fighting are also popular.
Skating is non-competitive, creative and urban. The organisers hope the sport will come to define fun in the post-9/11 era, just as the bestseller The Kite Runner symbolised childhood in 1970s Kabul
Skateistan tried to be different. It started small, offering free skateboarding classes in public spaces, with virtually no budget.
The strategy took the Australians to some unusual venues, including the Russian pool, an empty pool overlooking the city frequented by hash smokers and used for Friday night dog fights. Under Taliban rule it was used for public executions.

The early part of the Twentieth Century saw the rise of an age that has come to be known as the Dead Ball Era of baseball. The Dead Ball Era reportably spanned the Progressive Reform Age leading up to the Roaring Twenties, which ran from 1900 to 1919. During this time, professional and semi-professional ball clubs relied heavily on defense and pitching, and scoring was at a premium.
Pitchers dominated the pace of the games, and several legendary pitchers established their lasting legacy during this period. Some of the most notable were Cy Young, Walter Johnson and Grover Cleveland Alexander. In part, these fellows and several others were responsible for a lack of offensive production during this period, but there were other reasons as well.
Dead Ball also describes the baseballs actual condition, especially in the latter stages of the games after it had been manipulated, defaced and altered, which was standard practice at that time. Baseballs were considered expensive, and at three dollars each, generally only one ball was used per game. The hardness and aerodynamics of the ball were poor by modern standards and thus the sphere was detrimental to a hitters success.
In general terms, even though the ball was by most accounts, it actually did not provide a huge advantage to either offense or defense. The ball could not be hit for great distance, but the poor condition of the ball decreased the speed while increasing the movement of the pitch, thus making it somewhat easier for the hitters to make contact. Hit balls did not generate the tremendous speed off the bat as in todays game. This benefited the defenders in the field. Balls were only replaced if they were hit into the stands and lost. There were not many long-ball hitters and short game strategy was common, although some sources say that strategy as a whole was lacking in the Dead Ball Era, which may have further added to a lack of offensive production.
The rule was installed in 1901 in the National League and 1903 in the American, whereas hitters were charged with their first two strikes on foul balls. The new rule benefited pitchers and cause offensive output to decline further. It also remained legal to throw spit balls, and although illegal, defacing the ball in some way was a very common practice. Consequently, as you might expect with these conditions, hitting a soft, wet, and usually defaced ball resulted in may singles and fewer doubles, triples and homers.
Dividing pitching responsibility among a larger bullpen also became trendy, as did the sacrifice bunt. Both of these strategies had a detrimental effect as well on a hitters overall performance. Strangely, there were some legendary record setting hitters from this era, most notably, Ty Cobb. Hailing from Georgia, his nickname was the Georgia Peach, Cobb was best known for his pinpoint hitting accuracy and his never-say-die stubborn character. He set the record for career batting average at .366 and for runs scored with 2,245; both marks still stand to this day. He also finished his career first in hits; this record stood until the mid-1980s when Pete Rose broke the record. In 1936, Ty Cobb became the very first inductee of baseballs Hall of Fame, earning 222 out of 226 votes.
During the Dead Ball Era, managers relied on defensive strategy much more than offensive strategy. It was said, you could shake a tree and find a bat, but finding a glove was a whole different matter. Offensive skills were not highly sought after by managers. The focus was on defense. Some critics argue that baseballs probably were not the cause of low scoring, given there was no change in the balls construction between the high scoring 1890s and the low scoring 1900s. The 1894 season saw the highest offensive totals in runs scored ever recorded in the National League. The construction of the ball was changed in 1911 in an attempt to make the ball livelier and to increase scoring. The balls were corked for the first time. And yet, the Dead ball Era continued for another eight years-until 1919.
In 1908, an incident occurred in the National League that has come to be widely known as the Merkle Incident. It occurred during a regular season meeting between the Giants and the Cubs, In a tie game with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, runners on first and third, a single hit by Al Bridwell apparently won the game for the Giants as the runner scored from third. However, Fred Merkle was on first and ran to the clubhouse instead of advancing to second base, partly because the fans were mobbing the field at the Polo Grounds and partly because it was not entirely customary in that era to run out game winning hits. The Cubs second baseman, Johnny Evers later claimed to have alertly retrieved the ball and tagged second base. By a strict interpretation of the rules, Merkle was forced out at second, and the game winning run nullified. Because of the pandemonium on the field, none of the umpires saw Evers make the play. Since an official protest was registered, the League ordered the game replayed at the end of the season only if it was necessary. It turned out that it was necessary when the Cubs and Giants ended the regular season tied for first place. The Cubs won the replayed game and then went on to win the League pennant and then the World Series. The Chicago Cubs have not won a World Series since.
Even though it wasnt brought to the medias and publics attention until 1920, no article on the Dead Ball Era would be complete without mentioning The White Sox of 1919, or as they have become widely known: the Black Sox. Many of the White Sox players felt they were underpaid. This was in light of a new trend where owners in both leagues offered the best players much higher salaries than they had been previously paid. At the same time, White Sox Owner Charlie Comiskey felt cutting costs was the best response to a poor showing by his team in 1918. As a result, a conspiracy ensued by eight of the starting White Sox players to throw the World Series.
Many observers of the series suspected this was the case and a long running controversy eventually led to a Grand Jury investigation. Eddie Cicotte was the first to come forward and admit his part in the conspiracy, followed by Joe Jackson. All eight of the Black Sox were suspended from baseball. Even though there was no law against conspiring to throw baseball games, and all 8 players were eventually acquitted, they were all ruled permanently ineligible.

Are you wondering how to find a good agent that fits your professional basketball goals? Well honestly before you can know you have to research and ask around from players who currently is under contract with a particular agent or ask specific questions to find it if he/she is worth signing with.
For men and women, the topic of basketball representation is a little bit different. The market for men basketball players and women is a noticeably large and far gap. There are hundreds of men basketball agencies in the world and as a male you would have a lot of work finding one agent that suit your particular need. On the contrary, female basketball agents are far and few to come by, but many exist. Mostly, networking throughout different countries and with the help of some men basketball agents, the list can grow.
But how do you decide which agency is best for you? First, I recommend yourself writing a list of your basketball goals. They can be short term or long term for your professional career, but you MUST write them down. Second, honestly determine your game and decide who you game mostly can be compared to or even better. This will help you find an agency that will most likely willing to work with you.
Note: Contacting any agency without an adequate profile and stats to back up your game, you are limiting your choices.
Once you find a list of good basketball agents, create a letter which can be duplicated asking several questions to the agent which can help you decide on what youre looking for. If you already have basketball agents knocking on your door this list is recommended for you as well.

Cincinnati - 8%. The bearcats were better than anyone thought they would be last year, but any win against Cincinnati that does not involve a running Gerry McNamara three pointer at the buzzer isn't "storm worthy."
DePaul - 0%. Jerry Wainwright has his hands full this year.
Georgetown - 75%. Ravaged with defections and graduation, the Hoyas will not be as formidable as in years past - yet SU fans will charge the court just to get a close up of the fat rolls on the back of JT III's head.
Louisville - 25%. Louisville is going to be loaded this year, but should the Orange win, the fans will most likely stay in their seats since this is a fairly new rivalry. Of course if Pitino wears this, then all bets are off.
Notre Dame - 14%. This number would be higher if David Rivers and his afro still had some eligibilty left.
Rutgers - 0%. Rutgers usually plays SU tough, cuse fans could care less. A career 33-9 record against them will do that to people.
Seton Hall - 1%. There's a chance that following an Orange win, Bobby Gonzalez could flip out requiring fans to run on the court and restrain him, other than that, chances are slim paying customers will be on the floor after this game.
Villanova - 25%. When Scottie Reynolds finally leaves, that will be a real reason to storm the court.
West Virginia - 12%. People are only storming the court if word gets out that Huggy Bear has an extra flask on him.

After eight days of nearly uninterrupted tennis, rain disrupted the men's quarterfinals at Wimbledon on Wednesday and slowed five-time champion Roger Federer's bid to extend his grass-court winning streak to 64 matches.
After the start of play was held up by nearly an hour, Federer raced to a 6-1, 1-1 lead over Mario Ancic before the rain came again and the covers were rolled back onto Centre Court.
On Court 1, Feliciano Lopez was leading Marat Safin 5-2 when play was suspended.

Golf Balls - The First Piece of Basic Equipment
By Josh Walker
No matter how good a golfer may be, he or she will not be any good at all without golf balls. Granted, it is a no-brainer that golfers need to have golf balls in order to play. But, the question is, which golf balls are the best.
This is a sticky situation and depends almost entirely the individual golfer and his or her tastes, what he or she expects out of the ball, and, quite frankly, how much money he or she wants to spend.
There are golfers out there who will play with nothing but one brand of ball. No matter what else happens, they will only and always use this particular brand. What these balls cost is irrelevant to them. It is this ball or no golf. Yes, this going to the extremes, but, lets face it, there are people in this world who prefer living life at the extreme edge of sanity.
Now, lets get down to some common sense when it comes to the golf ball. We shall start with the beginning golfer. The beginner needs to forget what he or she may have heard about any brand or type of golf ball, what it does and how far it goes. Beginning golfers are going to lose a lot of golf balls. They need to think more about price than quality. The beginning golfer needs to purchase 'been around' balls, which are balls sold in bulk (around 50 to a bag), that have been found on golf courses and recycled, for lack of a better word.
OK, these used golf balls are more often than not name brand balls, but this does not matter. The beginning golfer, in learning how to hit the ball straight, keep it in the fairway, out of the woods and water, will go through dozens, if not hundreds of golf balls. Therefore, the logical thing for the beginning golfer to do is buy in bulk.
As the golfer gets better, the best idea would be to move up to a better grade of ball. This, though, does not mean to rush out to the nearest golfing supply house and buy the most expensive ball on the shelves. Again, think about the price of the ball and the level of your skill.
If a player has a tendency to slice the ball, or tends to top the ball (this is where the club head hits the top of the ball. While it gives the ball a lot of top spin, the ball does not travel far, and tends to be gashed by the club), stick with cheap balls. This does not mean stay with the bulk recycled balls, but inexpensive new ones.
In theory, players get better the more they play. As the skill level increases, the golfer can experiment with different brands of golf balls, checking to see which ones he or she may like the best. And, a lot of thought should be given to the type of course the golfer will be using these balls on.

This is an exceptional true book that John Grisham has given to his readers. The Innocent Man causes the readers to place themselves in the position of a prisoner when they are not guilty but have been charged as guilty and sentenced to death or life without parole. It is not a place anyone would want to be in but rather be FAR from it. The story occurs mostly in Oklahoma in and near the city of Ada. Peggy Stilwell's beautiful daughter, Debbie Carter, was one that liked to live by herself and do things that she wanted to do without her mother or anyone interfering. She wanted to be independent. Some of the places at which she worked or hung out were not the best places in town but as I said, Debbie was a free spirit.
When Peggy Stilwell found her daughter nude, bloodied, raped, and dead on the floor in her own apartment, she was horrified. The investigation began by tracing her activities from the time she got off work early to when her body was found. In 1982 many of the present day tools for tracing clues were not available but the shoddy work done by the inexperienced police force in Ada did not help the situation at all. Many possible suspects were interviewed, many of which were let go without close investigation. After several months the trail finally got to Ron Williamson. Ron had been a baseball nut, playing for his schools wherever he went and being quite successful until alcohol started dimming his ability to play. He would not accept that his career was over no matter how old he got. His mind always retained that he was a great baseball player and still could play with the best.
As time went on, his drinking and drug use became a huge detriment to his living and his ability to keep friends. His short-term marriage ended. He went from one rehab center to another. Eventually Ron Williamson and Dennis Fritz were arrested and charged with the murder of Debbie Carter and the police suspected they were also involved in some other rapes and murders. Dennis Fritz was not nearly suspected as much as Ron so most of the attention and investigation and some very shoddy police work was done against Ron Williamson.
Ron was out of prison at times but he was repeatedly rearrested, again because of the uncertain evidence gathered by the police. Eventually Ron Williamson settled into his prison life while getting more and more mentally unstable as every week passed. He was sent to various psychiatric hospitals and was interviewed by many shrinks all of who thought he was very unstable. Life in prison was a nightmare for any inmate but especially worse for someone in Ron's condition. He aged very fast even though he wasn't an old man.
This true story will guide you though Ron Williamson's life from youth to his final days and all he endured in and out of prison. Another book that is hard to put down. Knowing it is a true story makes it even harder to absorb and makes one wonder about our justice system. Please read this great story by a terrific author.

Hundreds of ordinary people report inaccuracies in the press each year, but very few of these complaints are upheld. The Press Complaints Commission (PCC) exists to deal with these issues but a survey by the MediaWise organisation revealed 64% of those asked were unhappy with their response. The Labour MP for The Wrekin, Peter Bradley, wants to ensure that people are not misrepresented in the press and that journalistic standards are improved. Do you think that the papers get away with too much? Have you ever complained about something in the press and been dissatisfied with the result? Or are you happy with the job done by the Press Complaints Commission? Weve put your questions to Peter Bradley and you can watch the interview by clicking on the link below. WATCH NOW
The following comments reflect the balance of opinion we have received: Wouldnt it be a nice change if we knew we could trust everything we read in newspapers as fact!
Justin S, London This is a gimmick - nothing more than a profile-raiser a few weeks before a general election. Everybody knows that backbench bills stand virtually no chance of becoming law. But I do agree with James. When a paper finally accepts a mistake has been made the apology tends to be no more than a few lines at the bottom of a page. Editors would thinks twice if they knew any subsequent apology had to be equal in typeface, space taken etc to the original story.
Jonathan, London With the bottom line being profit, a story needs to be embellished in the same way as the all-in-one miracle cleaner is in persuading us to buy it. Personally, I dont read the papers any more. There are a variety of sources on the internet, including many live forums available for discussions with a wide variety of very interesting people with very interesting views.
Gerry Noble, Salisbury The Press Complaints Commission, ha! What a joke organisation. Sadly, this is just tinkering with a very weak redress system and will not work. Regulation is the only solution to an increasingly poor, biased and sensationalist media.
Rodney Fernandes, Chippenham It seems that the country is faced with the choice between the right to report matters in the public interest and the right to. This is manifest in high profile cases such as George Galloway taking on the Daily Telegraph. But as far as regulation goes there are simply two approaches: a proactive stance in placing restrictions on the freedom of the press or a reactive approach with remedies for victims when the press unfairly encroach into realms that should not concern them. The first risks censorship which cannot be supported rationally and is not viewed favourably in Strasbourg. The second may cause initial discomfort for the people scrutinised by the press but it is better than the state dictating what we can and cannot read.
Simon Leeper, Norwich I completely agree with these ideas to control the unacceptably poor level of a lot of news reporting in the UK press. The print press is completely unaccountable and seems to accept no responsibility for getting the story right. MPs are too intimidated by the press to push for this but I hope it gets adopted.
James, London If it makes good reading, let them say what they like. The real people know the truth.
Stuart, Leeds If the press were forced to print the truth they would be out of business. The press exists to print the lies and propaganda of the government and to invent any stories they like against whoever they like with impunity!
Charlie, Scotland How about a similar bill proposing a right of reply within the Houses of Parliament? Then the Speaker would have the powers to force an MP or minister to give a full response to questions raised. I think this bill will have a minor positive effect on the public, but is potentially very harmful as is any government bill which regulates press. But a bill for Parliament will cause a dramatic change in the way our government acts.
Monty, Portishead I would add to the suggestion of press corrections and suggest that the Press Standards Board publish a league table of the newspapers showing how many libellous inaccuracies appear in them so that they will have less incentive to lie.
Graeme Phillips, Guildford I do think that the papers get away with too much with a trial by tabloid situation. There should be a fair right of reply given as much space and attention as the original article, not a few lines hidden in the letters section of a paper. Also I think Rupert Murdoch and the other press barons should try to be elected in Parliament before they try and alter the law.
Sarah, Manchester A free press is one of the crucial checks and balances against abuse of government power in the UK. To perform this essential role, the press must have a certain immunity. Time and again the press and media have exposed serious misconduct and abuse by Labour and Tory Governments. The Christine Keeler affair and the recent distortion of the security information used as grounds for invading Iraq are two such examples. Yes the press and media are fleas in the Governments ear, but it is their job to be so. Leave our media and press alone to do that vital job!
Colleen Morrison, Harlow Have you read 1984?
Andrew Palmer, France I dont think its just the papers that get away with too much. The TV news has examples of exaggerated or false stories every day which mislead viewers. Many people believe everything they see on TV which is dangerous when programmes will say anything as long as its a good story. 24-hour news channels are also forcing quick reactions to news stories which are sometimes the wrong angle. In short the media needs to take a good look in the mirror and hopefully Peter Bradleys initiative will help stem the tide of lazy journalism.
Ewan Bowers, Perth Too many lobby groups use the media in an attempt to manipulate government and public opinion for its own benefit. As someone who has a technical education I often see technical and scientific issues deliberately misunderstood for the purpose of sensationalism. I would support a law that compels the media to explain were information comes from, links to it and give a right of reply to all parties directly involved. These replies should be included as part of the article and there should be restrictions on how the media can edit them. I would oppose a law that in any way prevented the media from bringing something to our attention or infringed on the right of free speech. The media is a very powerful instrument, without it we would be blind in many ways. But there should be laws to prevent that power from being abused.
Hamish Brydone, Edinburgh Something needs to be done. Sadly a lot of people believe everything they read. The press has brought untold misery to some people by printing lies.
Polly Reed, Newcastle-upon-Tyne I think this an idea long overdue. As society evolves, the press has to take greater responsibility as a vehicle of checks and balance. I think it is a move in the right direction and hope other countries will follow.
Mohammad Ali Khan, Potomac No, I do not agree. Politicians cannot be trusted to be objective and fair in creating legislation curbing press freedoms. We already have this steady encroachment on our personal freedoms by the Labour Government with the proposed introduction of identity cards, detention without trial, illegal declarations of war and so on. I personally have more trust in the free press than in any politician or political party. Politicians just cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Leave our free press alone.
Owen Main, Folkestone There is far too much abuse printed in many sections of the press. News articles alone are not the issue, but so-called comment and analysis is as well. These columnists take it upon themselves to insult and demean others. I am sick and tired of having no recourse when reading lies, hypocrisies and simple prejudices written about those like me. Its about time we entered the 21st century and stopped playing the old traditional bigots games.
Jennifer Hynes, Plymouth Im a bit wary about a three day rule. Surely it could be possible for large groups who simply disagree with a papers opinion to bombard it with complaints causing chaos? However, Ive always been of the opinion that the best way to ensure fair press coverage is to ensure corrections are given as much space and visibility as the original claim such as a two-page spread on the inside cover.
James, London Why do we trust the press to self-regulate and give the PCC no teeth to do their job properly? Seems to me that freedom of speech cant be absolute without effective and unambiguous controls to prevent abuse.
Andy Millward, Broxbourne The general public should be able to have more right of reply, but politicians should be exempt from this as they need to be scrutinised regularly.
Mike, Spain I complained to the PCC once about an article I considered to be anti-gay. I received a reply stating that it was okay because it was expressed as the personal opinion of the author and so allowed under their guidelines. I went through their guidelines very carefully and could find nothing about an exemption for personal opinion. They just seem to make up the rules as they go along. Newspapers must have freedom of speech, but not the freedom to print complete lies - it takes forever for the PCC to investigate complaints and any apologies published are invariably published months later and buried deep inside the paper in some hidden corner. Thats no deterrent - its a tiny price to pay compared to the millions the paper can make printing sensationalist lies which can destroy peoples lives. Self-regulation doesnt work - the papers have proven this over and over again.
Anon, UK Its not only the inaccuracies that are annoying but the fact that newspapers engage in so much opinion and slanting of the facts. I thought newspapers were supposed to be news papers. I think the Mail is the ultimate in Tory propaganda. I always have to read it with a health warning in mind.
Chris, Surrey I believe that the standard of reporting by UK newspapers and also BBC TV news is getting out of hand with inaccuracies and omissions. There is a higher degree of propaganda of late and I feel that self monitoring is not working. People believe that newspapers and the BBC are authoritative and highly reliable. But is this true and what happens if this is not the case? Can an individual bring an action against a newspaper if the individual believes that a paper is misrepresenting their position? And would there be legal aid for such actions or limits to counterclaims, assuming that the defendant has greater access to legal assistance than the claimant? Yes I would like to see a change and waiting for 30 or more days for an investigation is silly.
David Mullins, Welwyn Garden City I have complained to the BBC more than once, and never had any result at all. Millions might contact the BBC and the press every day for all I know. Apart from that, the proposals in the Right of Reply Bill seem ludicrous to me. A law that requires newspapers - even local newspapers - to reply within three days seems ludicrous. I think the taxpayer could reasonably be concerned about how a database of press corrections would be achieved, who would be responsible for it, and who pay for it.
Peter Jamieson, Manchester I certainly do think that the papers get away with too much. But Im not saying this on my own account. Im referring, for example, to the episode of Prince Harry dressed as a Nazi at a supposed private party. I mean, they call that news.

A bracelet win has so far not been in the cards for Phil Hellmuth in the 2008 WSOP. He managed to get close again in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event, but he hit the rail in third place on Tuesday. Instead it was amateur player James Schaaf who picked up a new bracelet after never having cashed in a WSOP event before.
Schaaf is a 36-year-old software engineer from Torrance, Calif. He plays very few tournaments, and almost didnt make it past the first day of this one.
All the players started out with $3,000 in chips in this event, and at one point, Schaaf was down to just $200. He was all-in a few times to get his stack to around $500, which he hovered at for several hands before going all-in again with J-T-8 in a Razz round.
Normally that would be a terrible starting hand in a lowball game like Razz, but it worked out for Schaaf and he tripled up and made it through the day.
In the end it came down to Schaaf versus Tommy Hang. The final hand came during a round of Stud Eight-or-Better.
Schaaf raised with #6h and Hang called with #Jc. On fourth street, Hang bet his #2h, and Schaaf called with #8c. Schaaf took the lead on fifth street, betting out with his #9h, and Hang called with the #7h. When sixth street came along, Schaaf bet his #8h, Hang raised all-in with #7s, and Schaaf made the call.
Hang had trip sevens for a powerful heads-up hand, but Schaafs run of good cards continued and he turned up an eight in the hole for trip eights.
